Pumpkins, Acorns & Leaves . . . Oh My!

I found these fun fillers from a wonderful Etsy Shop called Ninna's Attic.  She makes these adorable leaves and acorns as well as pumpkins and more!  Don't wait too long to check her out though -- they go fast!  I missed out on pumpkins and plan to go back for some of those myself.

I used them to fill one of my small drawers that I change out for the seasons.
Have you ever heard of a pumpkin TREE??  Me either . . . until my neighbor (who is a gardening genius) brought me this plant over.
He planted these from seeds and gave me a plant.  I plan to keep some of the seeds and TRY to grow my own next year.  Apparently you can find these plants in SOME Trader Joe's stores although I haven't seen any near me.
The 'pumpkins' are just a few inches around.  We'll see how long they last apart from the 'tree' -- hopefully as long as a typical gourd would last -- we'll see.
I love the pop of glossy color they add to my display.  Now head on over to Ninna's Attic quickly if you want to get your little holiday 'fillers'!

  2. These are so cute! Did you see the ones I bought from her? I got cats, kittens and owls! I would love to get some leaves and acorns! I asked her for a custom order. Her listings don't last long enough to get them! She is SO talented! Hugs!
