Petite Shaker

Vintage salt shakers are one of my 'collecting passions' so I couldn't pass this little beauty up.  Before a few simple additions, she was elegant but plain.
My simple addition . . . a vintage-style post earring inserted into one of the shaker top holes!  I had to use a small pair of pliers to get the earring back on, screwed the top back in place and she was ready for her debut.
The right piece of jewelry can most definitely set off a girl's natural beauty and curves.
Salt shakers make beautiful little vases for real or dried flowers.  I love lavender and always have some on hand so I added a few sprigs.  Salt shakers are beautiful alone, in a collection or used for tiny vases -- so many possibilities.  What can YOU not stop collecting?

  3. Hi Lauren,
I have a small collection of vintage shakers too. I haven't added any new pieces to it lately though. I have way too many other collections that I need to pace myself...Hee, Hee, Hee. There are just too many treasures to collect :-) Your shaker looks pretty all blinged out. Wishing you a wonderful new week.

    Hugs,
    ❤Ana
